younger brother is a project by simon posford (of shpongle) and benji vaughan (of prometheus) to create some crazy music. they're really good, trippy at times. very psychedelic. saw them at moogfest, without hearing any of their songs beforehand, they were excellent. the atmosphere seemed really space-y to me. i wanted to blast off in the spaceship AC entertainment had hanging in the asheville civic center.

Digitalism - "Idealism"

from last.fm: "Digitalism is a German dance duo, founded in 2004 in Hamburg, Germany, consisting of Jens “Jence” Moelle and İsmail “Isi” Tüfekçi. They are signed to French label Kitsuné Music and have released four singles to date: “Idealistic”, “Zdarlight”, “Jupiter Room”, and “Pogo”. Jens likens Digitalism’s songs to simple chapters in a complex novel about social interaction and attraction, with distorted bass lines and thumping rhythms comprising the punctuation."

Yann Tiersen - "Amelie Soundtrack"

one of daisy's favourite movies. this french masterpiece, by yann tiersen, is great. a perfect fit for the perfect movie. daisys finds herself captivated by the accordion pieces and can't help but give a good ole doggy smile everytime she hears "le noyée". :D like that.

Le Tigre - "Le Tigre"

who took the bomp? asks both le tigre and daisy. enjoy the dancing around and the wagging of tails. recommend this album to your doggy pals. (or your tiger pals). daisy enjoys attempting to do the "deceptacon" dance (which she usually tires out half way through). but she loves it nonetheless.

Lemuria - "Get Better"

daisy is currently listening to this right now. she's barking at me so i get this typed and shared. : ( it's scary. she obviously loves it. the volume goes up, and so does her hostility so i get this up asap. simply put: download this album. enjoy it.
(and if you're in the atlanta area, go to the show december 30th. i'd love to go. but i'm in europe. daisy will probably be right in the front row, as usual)
she especially likes the dog and dogs tracks.
