Le Tigre - "Le Tigre"

who took the bomp? asks both le tigre and daisy. enjoy the dancing around and the wagging of tails. recommend this album to your doggy pals. (or your tiger pals). daisy enjoys attempting to do the "deceptacon" dance (which she usually tires out half way through). but she loves it nonetheless.

Jónsi - "Boy Lilikoi"

from daisy's favourite band, sigur rós, jónsi (the singer) is doing a solo project. this is one track from his upcoming album Go. it's set to be released march 22nd. daisy imagines spring when listening to this song. after 143 plays (and still going), she finds this song to be a super enjoyable uplifting track. it's freaking jónsi. for sigur rós fans: this song is in english. which is very different to what jónsi usually sings in. but it still has the mystic, ethereal feel to it.

daisy's tail can not stop wagging while listening. an audible cocaine, perhaps.

Lykke Li - "Youth Novel"

what daisy originally heard from one of the tracks of royksopp's Junior album was the lovely swedish musician, lykke li. fitting while painting, daisy greatly enjoys lyyke li and her cute voice: (it's a swedish girl thang).
daisy has heard that lykke li is featured on the new twilight movie soundtrack? at least those fan girls are getting some good music out of the move, certainly.
daisy gives the cutest musician award ever to: lykke li.

Natalie Portman's Shaved Head - "Glistening Pleasure"

from wiki:

Smith and Libman's [members of the band] first written songs for Natalie Portman's Shaved Head were about "fruit snacks and partying". The band claimed one of the reasons they formed the band was to get girlfriends

when daisy hits the clubs, without the intent of picking up the dude-dogs, she likes to party while listening to NPSH. when with her girlfriends, she drives to menchies and hangs near the car while eating her frozen yoghurt, "bedroom clothes" blaring out of her friend's mom's SUV.

when alone, though, daisy appreciates the wit and surrealism of the lyrics. she loves to recommend this album to her favourite online communities.

- "me + yr daughter"

Totally Michael - "Totally Michael"

from last.fm:

Sometimes, boredom takes us great places. At 20 a musician named Michael, who had amassed some fairly significant musical experience playing in a “crappy punk band” in high school, was living at home with his mom in Cabot, Arkansas, just a little perplexed about what to do with his life. Driven by boredom, armed with a guitar and a swift talent for using home recording software, Michael transformed himself into Totally Michael, a buoyant musician with a penchant for pop hooks and an adoration for blink-182.

my dog, daisy, thoroughly enjoys this album. she can often be found driving at high speeds around assisted living centers blasting this album with her top of the line soundsystem, much to the adoration of old, christian grandmothers and girl scouts.

track listing :
- "casual satisfaction"
- "summertime"
- "winona"
- "in her diary"
- "cheerleaders vs. drillteam"
- "orchestral interlude"
- "prom night"
- "death hill (over and over)"
