Yann Tiersen - "Amelie Soundtrack"

one of daisy's favourite movies. this french masterpiece, by yann tiersen, is great. a perfect fit for the perfect movie. daisys finds herself captivated by the accordion pieces and can't help but give a good ole doggy smile everytime she hears "le noyée". :D like that.

Le Tigre - "Le Tigre"

who took the bomp? asks both le tigre and daisy. enjoy the dancing around and the wagging of tails. recommend this album to your doggy pals. (or your tiger pals). daisy enjoys attempting to do the "deceptacon" dance (which she usually tires out half way through). but she loves it nonetheless.

Lemuria - "Get Better"

daisy is currently listening to this right now. she's barking at me so i get this typed and shared. : ( it's scary. she obviously loves it. the volume goes up, and so does her hostility so i get this up asap. simply put: download this album. enjoy it.
(and if you're in the atlanta area, go to the show december 30th. i'd love to go. but i'm in europe. daisy will probably be right in the front row, as usual)
she especially likes the dog and dogs tracks.

Jónsi - "Boy Lilikoi"

from daisy's favourite band, sigur rós, jónsi (the singer) is doing a solo project. this is one track from his upcoming album Go. it's set to be released march 22nd. daisy imagines spring when listening to this song. after 143 plays (and still going), she finds this song to be a super enjoyable uplifting track. it's freaking jónsi. for sigur rós fans: this song is in english. which is very different to what jónsi usually sings in. but it still has the mystic, ethereal feel to it.

daisy's tail can not stop wagging while listening. an audible cocaine, perhaps.

this is alice glass. this is ethan kath. this is crystal castles. these are the jams daisy was jamming out to at bonnaroo '09. the insane show with alice all over the place. takin' hits and enjoying the intense music of ethan and screaming of alice made daisy enjoy this show 1000x more. enjoy.

Lykke Li - "Youth Novel"

what daisy originally heard from one of the tracks of royksopp's Junior album was the lovely swedish musician, lykke li. fitting while painting, daisy greatly enjoys lyyke li and her cute voice: (it's a swedish girl thang).
daisy has heard that lykke li is featured on the new twilight movie soundtrack? at least those fan girls are getting some good music out of the move, certainly.
daisy gives the cutest musician award ever to: lykke li.

imagine your life is a non-stop party. imagine waking up with a bang. every morning. imagine daft punk playing at your house. this is the soundtrack to your party life. as daisy does indeed party all the time, she finds this album in her car much more often than other albums of similar genres. she and her girls love james murphy. the man.

The Knife - "Silent Shout"

one of daisy's favourite electronic swedish musicians. some call this album the best of 2006. daisy calls this album the best album to dance to on cold winter nights in those forest raves she often times goes to. once, when recommending this album to a friend, she described it as a mix of eerie dreams and a sweet listen. this friend, after listening to the album extensively, went on to become the dog whisperer.
